Spring at the Dallas Arboretum

Spring is in full bloom! The Dallas Arboretum is one of my favorites places in the Metroplex to visit in the Spring. The sights, the sounds, and the smells all make Spring one of the happiest times of the year.

I’ve curated a list of my favorite events taking place this Spring.

Daily Tastings: The Dallas Arboretum offers recipe tastings featuring their farm-to-table ingredients grown in the Arboretum. This is a great way to find great ideas for fresh, delicious meals.

Learn to Grow: Professional Gardeners teach the novices, like myself, how to grow thriving plants one by one. Check the schedule for the different fruits and flowers they feature.

Spring Tea: Enjoy tea and light snacks in the beautiful gardens. This is a great event to take friends for for a nice day in the park. Remember to RSVP before going as these fill up fast.

Cool Thursday Concert Series: Beginning March 29, the Arboretum hosts local artists on the lawn. This is a great event for all! Grab a blanket and enjoy a cool Thursday.

Dallas Blooms Festival: The Southwest’s largest floral blooms exhibit. This is what Spring is all about! Enjoy the beautiful fresh blooms as you cascade through the garden. The colors and smells of fresh flowers are my favorite time of year at the Arboretum.
